This is All About You

You’re not planning a big, traditional wedding just because you’re “supposed to.”

Maybe you’re saying your vows at Boston, Worcester, or even Portland City Hall, gathering your favorite people for a candlelit dinner at a restaurant with a great vibe, or hosting a lobster bake at an intimate venue overlooking the Maine coast.

Whether it’s just the two of you or 60 of your closest loved ones, you’re dreaming of a day that feels intentional, laid-back, and honestly you.

Whether you’re…

  • Dreaming up a celebration that’s focused on connection over tradition

  • Planning a micro wedding, city hall ceremony, or relaxed celebration with your favorite people

  • Looking for a photographer who captures emotion, not just poses

  • Less concerned with a “shot list” and more excited to live in the moment

  • Wanting guidance and support from someone who truly gets it

You’re in the right place.

A Little About Me

Hey, I’m Kara

I'm a New England wedding and elopement photographer specializing in intimate elopements and micro weddings across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine—capturing love stories in a way that feels honest, emotional, and true to you.

Outside of photography, I’m all about slow mornings, spontaneous dance classes, long walks by the ocean (especially in York, Maine), and cold-cut sandwiches with my family on Sundays. I’m also a total sap—so yes, I will tear up during your vows, but no, I won’t miss the shot.

If you're looking for a photographer to capture your wedding day in an honest, real, and emotional way, I'd be so honored to be part of it.

Me...in a nutshell

What Matters Most

Your wedding doesn't need to look like anyone else's to be absolutely beautiful. Whether you're planning an intimate backyard ceremony, eloping at city hall, or celebrating with just your closest people, your day deserves to be captured with the same care and intention as any grand celebration.

I believe the most meaningful weddings happen when couples stop worrying about what they're "supposed" to do and start focusing on what feels right for them.

    Your Day, Your Way

I believe there's no "right" way to get married—only your way. Small guest lists, non-traditional venues, skipping things that don't feel like you—these aren't compromises, they're choices that make your day more authentic. I'm here to capture whatever version of celebration feels most true to who you are as a couple.

    Observation Over Perfection

If you envision your day unfolding naturally, without constant interruption, that’s exactly my approach. My role is to document your day as it happens—the laughter, the quiet tears, the stolen glances. When you look back at your photos, I want you to remember exactly how each moment felt, not how it was posed to look.

  • Timeless Bride and Groom walking portrait

    Timeless Over Trendy

You're not planning this day for Instagram or TikTok likes—you’re creating memories that will live in your heart (and maybe on your walls and in an album) for the rest of your life. I photograph with that in mind, focusing on connection, emotion, and authenticity—so your images age as gracefully as your love.

    Creating Your Legacy

Your wedding photos will become the foundation of your family's story. Years from now, I want you to be transported back to exactly how your day felt—the joy, the love, the feeling of everything. The moments that matter most deserve to be preserved—not just for you, but for all the love stories that will come after yours.

Let Me Tell You More

Let’s connect!

Connection matters to me. Before anything else, I want to get to know you—who you are, what you’re dreaming up, and what really matters on your day. During our consult call, there’s no pressure or sales pitch—just a laid-back conversation where we can chat about your plans, answer questions, and see if we’re a good fit. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable, understood, and excited about what we can create together.
