Kara was, first and foremost, super easy and fun to work with -- after we inquired with her, she set up a time for us to Zoom so she could get a feel for us as a couple, as well as understand our vision for our engagement pictures so she could really bring them to life. She shared some of her own thoughts and ideas for how we could achieve the pictures we wanted, and she was totally on point. From there, scheduling with her was really easy -- she was communicative, prompt, and flexible. The day of the session, she really made it fun and comfortable for us! It really just felt like a date night for the two of us. She tailored the session to us and our interests, starting at a brewery and then walking around to different areas of the Boston harbor/North End that we were hoping to include in our photos. She didn't make us feel rushed at all, and we never felt super posed or stiff! After the session, we received sneak peeks really quickly, and then we had our full gallery with tons of pictures within just a few weeks! Overall, I highly recommend working with Kara!”

From our first video chat to the end of our shoot, the process was seamless. She really got to know my fiancé and I during our calls and helped tell our story through her work. She was even willing to travel to Provincetown in the middle of February to shoot in a place that was special to us. Everything was natural and nothing felt forced. I personally love documentary style photography and we got the perfect mix of posed and natural/ organic photos! Side note: My fiancé is not very comfortable in front of the camera but Kara's personality made it easy for both of us to be ourselves. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I’m happy to work with you to create a payment plan that fits your needs. The only exceptions are the non-refundable retainer, which is required to officially reserve your date, and that all payments must be made in full before the date of the session or wedding.
We love everything about youR WORK — how do we book you?
Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to work with you! To make things official, I’ll send over a booking proposal that includes a contract and invoice for the retainer. Once those are signed and paid, your date is officially reserved!
Are travel fees included in your pricing, or do you charge separately for travel?
I’m happy to include most New England-based travel in my packages! Inquire for full details on my packages. For locations over 2 hours away one-way, I require an overnight stay to ensure I can serve you the best and be fully present on your wedding day. I’ll provide a clear breakdown of any travel costs while drafting your proposal, so you’ll always know exactly what to expect.
Can I adjust my package after booking?
You can absolutely add on to your package up until 2 weeks prior to your wedding day — I’ll help you build the perfect fit as we go.
Do you offer any add-on services or products?
Yes! If it means getting to work with you more, sign me up. I offer engagement sessions, a la carte heirloom albums, fine art prints, rehearsal or welcome dinner coverage, and more. Reach out to learn about all the ways we can celebrate your love story.
