Intimate Backyard Wedding in Ogunquit, Maine | Southern Maine Wedding Photographer

Intimate weddings — especially in Southern Maine — will always have a special place in my heart. Maybe it’s because I had a small celebration of my own in Kittery, or maybe it’s just how emotional and intentional these days tend to feel. As a Southern Maine intimate wedding photographer, I’ve seen so many couples create meaningful celebrations that reflect who they are — and Perry & Dennis’s Ogunquit micro wedding was exactly that.

Perry got ready at her grandmother’s house, surrounded by family memories and laughter. Before heading out to see Dennis, she shared a sweet first look with her dad that had everyone tearing up.

For their first look, Perry and Dennis met along the rocky Ogunquit coastline with waves crashing behind them. They took a quiet moment to exchange private vows — one of those beautiful, grounded moments that remind me why I love what I do.

Their ceremony, officiated by Perry’s sister, took place at a private property overlooking the waves. It was intimate, emotional, and so beautiful. Afterward, we wandered along the Marginal Way for portraits — a spot they both love.

The evening wrapped up with an intimate dinner catered by Mangia Kitchen Maine, heartfelt toasts, and dancing under twinkle lights. It was one of those days that just felt easy, heartfelt, and full of love — proof that small weddings can still hold some of the biggest moments.
