Spring Engagement Photos in Newburyport, MA

Springtime in Newburyport is perfect for an engagement session, and Catherine and Ryan made it even more special. We started at the Garrison Inn, where they later stayed for their wedding in July. The inn’s historic charm was the perfect backdrop as we captured their love and chatted about their big day.

Next, we continued to explore some of Newburyport’s most iconic spots, walking through Brown Square. We stopped by the Newburyport mural, a vibrant piece of local art that brought a fun, colorful energy to the session. Then took a stroll by Grog, a classic Newburyport pub, perfect for a casual moment during their session.

We then stopped into Bar25, a favorite spot for these two, which did not disappoint. And finally wrapping the day up at Joy Nest for a cocktail and a snack. Joy Nest was the perfect spot where I could be a fly on the wall, while these two got to relax and recount a fun day-date while taking engagement photos. The restaurant features a boho vibe, incredible cocktails and savory bites.

It was such a joy getting to spend some time capturing Catherine & Ryan’s love in the city that means so much to them. Their connection, laughter, and memories made this session truly special.
